The ideal candidate should be well-dressed, professional and have a keen sense of understanding of customer service and management standards.
An ideal candidate will be able to maintain specific customer service standards while ensuring that operations go as smoothly as possible by utilizing departmental guidelines and customer service best practices.
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Office Receptionist.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients while efficiently managing front office operations.
This position involves answering phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, checking out patients, and maintaining knowledge of procedures and skincare products.
Qualifications:
Must speak English but Spanish, Armenian, Tagalog or Arabic are a plus High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a dermatology office or medical spa setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using computer systems and office software.
Must be fast on the computer.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of skin procedures, treatments, and products is a plus.
Experience with ModMed, EMA, ModMed Pay or Square is a plus Qualities We Admire:

Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly as they arrive and check them in for their appointments.
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, providing information and assistance as needed.
Schedule patient appointments accurately, ensuring proper documentation of all appointments in the EMA MODMED system.
Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments or payments for services rendered.
Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
Keep abreast of office procedures, services offered, and skincare products available.
Educate patients on skin procedures, products, and aftercare instructions.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
Handle patient inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
Process patient check-outs, including scheduling follow-up appointments, processing payments, and providing receipts.
Assist with prior authorizations.
